Passionate about protecting systems, understanding evolving security challenges, and continuously building technical skills through hands-on learning, real-world experience, and practical problem solving across cybersecurity and IT.

About

I'm a cybersecurity student at George Mason University with a strong interest in technology, security, and continuous learning. Before transferring to Mason, I studied cybersecurity at Northern Virginia Community College, where I earned my Associate degree in Cybersecurity with a 4.0 GPA.

My experience includes hands-on work across IT, cybersecurity compliance, Linux systems, networking, virtualization, AI-assisted workflows, and autonomous technologies. Through internships, labs, and technical projects, I've worked with environments involving NIST 800-171, CMMC readiness, vulnerability testing, system security, and secure infrastructure concepts.

I enjoy learning by building, testing, troubleshooting, and experimenting with different technologies. I currently hold both the CompTIA Linux+ and Certified CMMC Professional (CCP) certifications, and I'm fluent in English and Arabic.

Projects

CyberLucid

Built a free, beginner-friendly cybersecurity education platform that helps everyday users understand common attacks, recognize warning signs, practice safer decisions, and take practical steps to protect themselves.

AI Plane Flight Agent

Developed a multi-agent AI system that translates plain-English flight instructions into structured missions for a simulated ArduPlane aircraft, with mission planning, safety validation, MAVLink execution, telemetry monitoring, and flight summaries.

AI Drone Flight Agent

Developed a multi-agent AI flight system that converts natural-language instructions into executable drone missions inside an ArduPilot SITL simulator. The system handles mission planning, safety validation, command execution, state monitoring, flight summaries, and reusable mission files through MCP.

Virtualized Penetration Testing Lab

Built and maintained an isolated VirtualBox lab with Windows, Kali Linux, Ubuntu, and Metasploitable 2 to practice penetration testing, network analysis, vulnerability research, and web security. Used security tools to scan systems, analyze traffic, test vulnerabilities, and research CVEs in a controlled environment.

Drone Cybersecurity Vulnerability Research

Researched vulnerabilities in drone software and communication protocols by designing a virtualized test environment simulating autonomous drone operations. Conducted ethical penetration testing — including GCS-drone telemetry interception, MITM-based drone redirection, and DoS attacks on the communication link — then developed and implemented countermeasures such as MAVLink message signing and VPN tunneling with public/private key encryption. Findings, attack methods, and remediation steps were documented in a comprehensive research report.
